NYC Politicians: de Blasio (again) and Stringer
|
Original article (link to remote site)
Following New York City politicians has gotten a number of my photos some rotation - the list includes Anthony Weiner and Scott Stringer (below) but the top draw is Bill de Blasio, whom I've followed for several years. After Bill was elected mayor my shot of him at a 2013 labor rally got picked up by a number of news services, here in the U.S., in France, in Brazil, and doubtless other venues that I am unaware of.
From the U.S.:

Scott Stringer (New York City Comptroller, replacing de Blasio)
|
As is often the case with my photos of NYC politicians, a shot I took of Scott Stringer when he was relatively unknown is now in use at wikipedia (and elsewhere) - because the former Manhattan Borough President is now NYC Comptroller, a post held by Bill de Blasio before he was elected mayor.
